RENT A ROOM IN NYC, 646 318-8446, is your go to room rental agency in New York to find an affordable apartment share. We started sixteen years ago and it’s been really a fun and rewarding journey. Thousands of clients have been placed: regular New Yorkers, international students, interns; people from all walks of life.
The furnished rooms that we have for rent in NYC are located uptown Manhattan in the Washington Heights/Inwood areas, the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens. Some are in shared family apartments and others are in private houses. Trains and buses are usually within walking distance. Rent for one person ranges from $150.00 to $190.00 per week whereas rent for couples starts at $200.00 per week. For a couple plus a child, you are looking at a rate of at least $250.00 each week. Gas, electricity, heat, water, Wi-Fi are generally included in the rent. You are welcome to use the kitchen and once in a while have a guest over.
Now, this is a service for someone that can move in right away and it’s reasonably priced. Therefore room managers don’t have time for those that cannot make up their mind. All rooms are on a first come first served basis so there is always someone right behind you interested in the very same room you are about to check out or you have just viewed. Singles need roughly $600.00 to move in the first time and then you keep paying the rent every week. For a double occupancy, you will need at least $650.00 to move in and then you keep paying a weekly rate.
